I LOVE MAKING WEBSITES. 🤷♀️
Hi. I call my business CREATIVE DISTRACTION because that is what it is. I don’t make websites as my main income. It’s actually a very fun hobby that’s now a side hustle. Up until now, I’ve made websites for myself, family and friends.
When I get busy or have been working too long on my own stuff, I love jumping on Squarespace and playing around with websites. Weird? Sure. But also…who cares. It’s fun and easy for me.
I work only with Squarespace and I can make you a one-page website in a very short amount of time as long as you do a few things first, which I go into below. Other than that, easy breezy.

EXAMPLES OF ONE-PAGE SITES
A one-page site puts all your content on a single homepage, organized into clearly defined sections. Visitors can either scroll down to explore or click on the menu to jump straight to what they’re looking for — both options work seamlessly.
Some examples might show extra pages like a store or blog. While I won’t build or fill those out, I can easily link to them if you already have them set up. Not sure? We can talk it through.
THE PROCESS

We’ll set up a Zoom to connect. I like to have a short chat before we officially get started — it helps make sure we’re aligned and sets us up for a smooth process. 😊

I’ll send you a comprehensive list of what I’ll need from you before I can start. This will include things like your domain name, the purpose of your site, and some sample sites to use as inspiration.

Once I have everything, the countdown begins! I will create your 1-page site in a week. You’ll receive a link to review it. You’ll get one round of revisions — submit all your feedback and I’ll make those revisions, and then you’ll get a live site!
THE FINE PRINT
In order to deliver a site in 7 days, I can only begin when I have everything I need from you.
I build all sites on Squarespace. I find it the best and most user-friendly.
I will ask you to upload all the elements I will need ahead of time. This includes things like photos, bios, social media links, and copy. Don’t worry, I’ll give you a checklist and it doesn’t take as much time as you may think.
The images must be high resolution. We can talk about where lower-res might work (like in galleries).
You’ll be responsible to buy the Squarespace site ($16/month) and the domain name if you don’t have it already.
I build single-page sites with as many sections as you want.
Squarespace has a 14-day free trial — I can build your site during that time, but after 14 days, I’ll be locked out until it’s purchased.
I ask for a footer credit: “Creative Distraction Inc” (linked to this site).
My fee is $1000. A $600 deposit starts the project; the $400 balance is due upon approval, before launch and transfer.
When finished, I’ll send you a short Loom video going over the site and showing how to update sections if you want to. Squarespace is very easy, but I don’t provide full tutorials.
